Love Ballad

Love thrives after New York Times editor Seth Bridges loses the love of his life. He finds Heather McDonnell, a singer in a karaoke night pub who is on her way to perform on the national TV show Just the Song. She and her partner Heather Thomas are The Heathers, and they find success on the show. Seth decides to fly out in the middle of the competition to proclaim his love and propose. Heather accepts and The Heathers are signed by their coach John Legend to open for his upcoming tour. All is well until Heather is drugged and raped at the after party following the show and she must overcome the trauma to hit the road with her lifelong friend and singing partner. Can the show go on?
